With CE you can fake your level (temporarily; will be gone after refresh) and buy items which are unlocked in higher levels or get more plots.
Charles is working as well been lots of things to do (now most interesting patched though). Recently I wrote a tutorial for beginners. Skip first steps if you setup Charles already.
Download Charles:

1) Install SSL Certificate (Menu --> Help):

2) Enable Charles in your Browser (in Firefox: Extras --> Charles):

The above three steps you only need to do ONCE, then never again!
Ask or send gifts to other players:
1) Prepare: Start Charles and make sure the log-button (white with a little red dot) is pressed:
http://prntscr.com/1y6hyw2) Load your game in browser. Do any action on your kingdom like moving an item until these blue folder(s) (http://prntscr.com/1y6hyw) show up in Charles.
3) Make sure breakpoints is checked on the folder persist --> batch (rightclick that one) like here:

Do the actual cheat:
4) Now press the breakpoint button in Charles:

5) Ask your Neighbors for anything ingame like 1 Magic in kitchen. Chose a neighbor and click the Send button:
http://prntscr.com/1y6k546) Charles pops up instantly or after few seconds. Open the tab "Edit Request" (above:
http://prntscr.com/1y6lk0), go to tab "Form" (below:
http://prntscr.com/1y6lz5) and look at the line "commands" where you see "OneMagic" or whatever you asked for like here:
http://prntscr.com/1y6m8lDoubleclick on this line to edit and change "OneMagic" (or whatever you asked for) to "SpeedFeed". Then turn off the breakpoint-button and hit execute:
http://prntscr.com/1y6qhpNow you are done and your neighbor gets the ask-request for Speed Feed. To send just send any gift instead of asking in step 5).
